Court remitted Khodorkovsky`s punishment for unauthorized leaving of working place
Court of Krasnokamensk town in Chita oblast has remitted punishment imposed on ex-head of "YUKOS" Mikhail Khodorkovsky by administration of the colony.
The court settled the complaint lodged by Khodorkovsky`s lawyer Natalia Terekhova. In opinion of the lawyer Khodorkovsky was illegally punished for "leaving of working place without permission".
Lawyer has persuaded the judge that Mikhail Khodorkovsky didn`t leave the territory of sewing factory and search of mechanical technician can not be interpreted as leaving of working place.
The penalty was imposed on Khodorkovsky in mid-December of 2005. In colony the ex-head of "YUKOS" works as apprentice of sewer. After sewing machine broke down Khodorkovsky started to search for technician. Administration regarded behavior of Khodorkovsky as violation of interior colonial regulations.
